What Makes GLYUP 71 Special?

Glyphosate is the world's most-used herbicide. Krishikranti GLYUP 71 brings it to Indian farmers in its strongest, most farmer-friendly form. It does 2 jobs in one molecule:

  • It is a total weed killer: Kills every green plant it touches  grasses, broadleaf, sedges, woody saplings. Nothing escapes if sprayed properly.
  • It is a root-level killer: Travels from leaf to root and rhizome through the plant. Even tough perennials like Motha (nutgrass), Doob (Bermuda grass), and Kans grass die fully  no regrowth from underground parts.

This root-level systemic action is why GLYUP 71 is the first choice for tea estate managers, plantation owners, orchard farmers, and any farmer cleaning fields before sowing.

Why Choose 71% SG Over 41% SL? The 71% SG (soluble granule) formulation carries 73% more active ingredient per kg than 41% SL. That means lower dose per acre, lighter packs to carry, no spillage during transport, and shelf life of 2+ years. Granules dissolve cleanly in water with zero residue at the bottom of the tank. Most plantation managers and large-acre farmers have shifted from 41% SL to 71% SG for these exact reasons.

What Weeds Does It Kill?

Perennial Weeds (Toughest  Where GLYUP 71 Wins)

  • Doob / Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon)  common bund and orchard weed
  • Motha / Nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus)  sedge that survives most other herbicides
  • Kans grass (Saccharum spontaneum)  tough perennial of fallow lands
  • Cogon grass (Imperata cylindrica)
  • Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense)

Annual Grasses

  • Echinochloa colona, Echinochloa crus-galli (Sawan, Sanwa)
  • Dactyloctenium aegyptium (Makra)
  • Wild oats (Avena fatua)
  • Eleusine indica (Kodo grass)

Broadleaf Weeds

  • Parthenium (Congress grass / Gajar ghaas)
  • Amaranthus (Chaulai)
  • Chenopodium album (Bathua)
  • Phyllanthus, Euphorbia, Trianthema, Tridax
  • Wild safflower, wild mustard

Sedges & Wetland Weeds

  • Cyperus iria, Cyperus difformis
  • Fimbristylis, Eleocharis (paddy bund weeds)

How Does It Work?

GLYUP 71 is a systemic herbicide. It does 4 things in sequence:

  • Foliar absorption: Glyphosate enters through the leaf surface within minutes of spraying
  • Phloem translocation: It moves down to roots, stems, rhizomes, and growing points even reaches underground tubers and runners
  • Enzyme blocker: Blocks the EPSP synthase enzyme  without this enzyme, the plant cannot make essential amino acids needed for growth
  • Total plant death: The plant starves at every growth point and dies completely within 14 to 21 days  no regrowth from roots or rhizomes

Bonus benefit  glyphosate binds tightly to soil particles on contact, so it does not move to deeper layers or harm seeds planted later. That is why it is safe to sow crops 15 to 20 days after application.

Why Farmers Choose Krishikranti GLYUP 71

  • Total weed kill: Grasses + broadleaf + sedges in one spray  no weed escapes
  • Root-level action: Kills underground rhizomes and tubers  perennials do not regrow
  • Higher AI load: 71% vs 41% means lower dose per acre, lighter packs, lower cost per acre
  • SG formulation advantage: No spillage during transport, easy measurement, 2+ year shelf life
  • Best for tough weeds: Motha, Doob, Kans, Parthenium  controls weeds that resist other herbicides
  • Soil-safe: Binds to soil, does not move to deeper layers, safe to sow crops after 15 to 20 days
  • Rain-fast in 4 to 6 hours: Reliable performance even in unpredictable weather
  • Cost-effective for large acreage: One application gives 60 to 90 days of weed-free fields
  • Multi-purpose: Works on tea, plantations, orchards, non-cropped areas, and pre-sowing  one product covers every weed control need

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG used for? GLYUP 71 is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergent herbicide. It controls annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges in tea, plantations, orchards, non-cropped areas, paddy bunds, and pre-sowing field preparation. It kills weeds at the root level so they do not regrow.
Q. What is the dose of Glyphosate 71% SG per acre? For most uses, 400 to 800 grams per acre dissolved in 150 to 200 litres of water. For knapsack pump, mix 75 to 100 grams in 15 litres of water per pump. For tough perennial weeds like Kans and Motha, use 800 grams per acre.
Q. How much GLYUP 71 to mix in 15 litre pump? Mix 75 to 100 grams per 15 litre knapsack pump. Pre-dissolve the granules in a small bucket of water first, then pour into the pump tank for even mixing.
Q. How long does GLYUP 71 take to kill weeds? Yellowing of leaves starts in 4 to 7 days. Complete kill of annual weeds in 10 to 14 days. Tough perennial weeds like Motha, Doob, and Kans die fully in 14 to 21 days, with no regrowth from roots.
Q. Is GLYUP 71 safe for crops? No. GLYUP 71 is non-selective  it kills every green plant it touches. Use only as a directed spray in orchards and plantations, or in non-cropped areas, or 15 to 20 days before sowing the main crop. Never spray on standing crops.
Q. Can I sow crops after spraying GLYUP 71? Yes. Glyphosate binds to soil particles and does not affect seeds planted later. Wait 15 to 20 days after spraying, then sow your main crop (paddy, cotton, soybean, sugarcane, maize) safely.
Q. Glyphosate 71% SG vs Glyphosate 41% SL  which is better? 71% SG has 73% more active ingredient per kg than 41% SL. It needs lower dose per acre, is lighter to carry, has 2-year shelf life, and gives better control on tough perennial weeds. 41% SL is suitable for light annual weed flushes. Large-acre farmers and plantation managers prefer 71% SG.
Q. Can GLYUP 71 control Motha (nutgrass) and Doob (Bermuda grass)? Yes. These are perennial weeds with deep underground rhizomes and tubers. GLYUP 71 travels from leaves to roots and kills the underground parts too. Use 800 grams per acre for full kill. Spray when weeds are at 6 to 8 inches height, before flowering.
Q. Is it rain-fast? Yes. GLYUP 71 is rain-fast within 4 to 6 hours after spray. If rain comes after this window, the herbicide has already entered the plant and will continue working.
Q. Can I mix GLYUP 71 with other herbicides? Yes, with careful selection. It can be tank-mixed with 2,4-D for better broadleaf control, and with paraquat for faster knockdown. Do not mix with copper-based products or hard-water salts. Always do a small compatibility test first.
Q. How to use GLYUP 71 in orchards safely? Use a hooded or shielded sprayer. Spray only on weeds in the basin and inter-row spaces. Never let droplets touch the tree leaves, stems, or green bark. Avoid spraying on windy days to prevent drift.
Q. Is GLYUP 71 approved by CIB&RC in India? Yes. Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG is CIB&RC-approved in India for use in tea (against perennial weeds) and non-cropped areas. Many farmers also use it for pre-sowing field preparation and directed spray in plantations and orchards.

My puppy Rottweiler loves this toy! Withstands her heavy chewing and really seems to soothe her! It’s very loud against the floor. She struggled a bit at first with picking it up but now it’s no problem. Highly recommend for big dogs

My puppy's favorite stick, high quality
Size: 5.75 inch (Pack of 1)
Perfect quality chew toy for my dachshund puppy. She will spend several minutes everyday chewing on this. It is the perfect size for her small mouth and it doesn't show signs of wear like most sticks do.

Durable
Size: 5.75 inch (Pack of 1), Size: 5.75 inch (Pack of 1)
Great buy would highly suggest for dogs that love to chew. I bout a large one for our 5 year old Husky and a medium one for our 11 week old puppy. Both are very intrigued by them and the puppy loves playing fetch with it. The only complaint I have is the size difference between the large and the small. I know measurements were given but the medium looks more like a very small stick. If you have a larger go with the Large size. Medium would really only work for smaller size dogs and pups
